I Didn’t Post on Medium for One Day …
After posting every day on Medium for 30 days, I missed one day, and this is what happened …
First of all, it wasn’t a terribly busy day — not too busy to post if I had managed to fit it in.
It was, in fact, a good day.
I took my 15-year-old son to a Renaissance Faire.
The last time I had visited a Renaissance Faire was when I was a teenager.
I loved all things medieval and renaissance at that age!
I borrowed books from the library about the history of Scottish tartans and patterns.
It was long before the days of certain medieval shows trending on Netflix.
It was the days when the best that people who were serious about medieval times could do would be to attend renaissance faires …
Well, they could actually join the guilds at renaissance faires, and believe me, that’s exactly what I would have loved to do …
But life took me in a different direction.
Fast forward 20(ish) years, and my teenage son loves all things medieval.
I mean, he’s really into it.
My son dresses in medieval-style clothes on a regular basis — doesn’t wait for Halloween or costume parties.
