- You haven’t read a book in months or even years.
- You find yourself begrudging those who have time for things like regular exercise or relaxation.
- A common reaction or statement you make is, “I would [fill in the blanks] if I only had the time.”
- Your desk, kitchen table, counters, side tables, and pretty much every other surface are cluttered with stuff you’ll get to and organized “when you have the time.”
- You begin to think of friendships or acquaintances in guilty terms, as in, “I need to call so-and-so. I haven’t invited that person over. I was supposed to meet this person for coffee last week, but I was just too busy.”
